Do not delay BREXIT beyond 29/03/19; to do so is just delaying the inevitable.

Petition Details

The EU are said to be proposing a delay until 22/05/19 if our MPs approve the withdrawal agreement or a shorter delay until 12/04/19. The law currently states that we leave on 29/03/19 and any change to this has to be debated within both Houses for 90 minutes. People did not vote for a deal.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

We have received a large number of petitions in support of leaving the EU, which are very similar to petitions that are already open. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one asking for the same thing. You are more likely to get action if you sign and share a single petition.
