In this time of national emergency we need a stateswoman or statesman as Prime Minister. Jacinda Ardern fits the bill. As a UK citizen she could be drafted in as an emergency replacement

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept petitions about honours and appointments.

In any case, as you might already know, the Prime Minister of the UK is not chosen by the UK Government or Parliament.

After a general election, the Queen decides who to invite to form a Government. In practice, this is usually the leader of the political party that wins the most seats in a general election. You can find out more about this here:

In any case, a citizen of a Commonwealth country can stand to be an MP in the UK. It is not necessary to have British citizenship. You can find out more about who is eligible to stand to become an MP here:
