The BBC should be forced to sack Jeremy Clarkson
The BBC has received more than 23,000 complaints over Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson's remarks that striking public sector workers should be shot.
Clarkson was censured with his comments on The One Show and trade union Unison called for him to be sacked.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This is a matter for the BBC.
. It is a long-standing principle that the Government does not interfere in programme matters, either on arrangements for scheduling or on content. It is important to maintain the principle of freedom of expression which political interference could undermine.
