Recognise severe depression as a terminal illness and treat it like one.
For a long time mental health issues such as severe depression have been swept under the carpet by healthcare professionals.
Suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 45, most of which suffer with this illness.
It starts mental, turns physical and usually ends deadly.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you're concerned about treatment for people with severe depression, but we're not sure exactly what you mean when you ask for it to be treated as a terminal illness.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
