Re-orientate public funds in favour of a younger demographic.
The average age of an MP is 50. http://www.parliament.uk/about/faqs/house-of-commons-faqs/members-faq-page2/ The average age in the UK is 40. https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/uk.html The babyboomers have had their day. They enjoyed the boom years and now seem happy to deprive the next generation. This petition is not about a tax cut or rise. This is a petition requesting that the government reduce all existing funding specifically aimed at people aged over 45 (for example the winter fuel allowance or discounts on second homes) and re-allocate this money to things specifically aimed to benefit people aged younger than 45 (for example promotion of affordable housing or university fees).
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
