Make lying about manifesto promises a criminal offence
Politicians must be held to account and wilfully lying to the electorate must be a thing of the past.
Any politician caught making manifesto pledges they have no intention of keeping should step down forcing a by election or face a criminal conviction with a minimum prison time of 2 years.
