Petition Action

Bans grocery stores from throwing away edible food.

Petition Details

Action/pilot scheme to reduce food waste announced doesn't go far enough. The homeless situation in London is getting worst and we could all do a little more everyday to enhance their life. If we were all to help a homeless person everyday - they will be no more homeless in London by 2020.

Additional Information

London will account for 25 per cent of the UK's homeless population this Christmas, according to new figures. Research published on Friday by homeless charity Crisis found 6,180 people in the capital were either on the streets or sleeping in tents and public transport.
