Ex-servicemen must be given accommodation if they have nowhere to live.
There is a shameful increase of ex-servicemen becoming homeless here in the UK. These people were prepared to risk life and limb to protect the rest of us while we lived our lives in comparative safety here at home. They deserve our gratitude and we should not turn our backs on them.

The law already allows local authorities to give priority to ex-service personnel when allocating housing.
