Petition on Foreign Aid

Additional Information

We the people of Britain would like Her Majesty's Government to review the proposed 'cap' at 0.7% of the UK's national income.
At a time of deep cut-backs in the public sector and suffering in the private sector the Government should debate a 'sliding scale' for Aid with 0.7% the highest (at a time of good economic growth) and a more modest sum (e.g 0.1%) at a time of economic crisis such as now.
The money should be used domestically at a time such as this.
