Lower the voting age on issues that concern young people’s future
Young people should have a say in their future! They should be allowed to vote on issues that concern them. There should be more young people involved in Parliament.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you want to lower the voting age, but we're not exactly sure at what age you want young people to be able to vote or in what kinds of elections. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to do.
There's already a petition calling for the voting age to be lowered to 16. You might like to sign this petition if it calls for something you'd like to happen. You're more likely to get action on an issue if you sign and share a single petition:
