Insist Parliament honour the democratic 2016 EU referendum result

Petition Details

During the referendum of 2016 the people of the UK were asked whether they wished to stay or leave the EU and there were 2 options. Since then many options have appeared in the Brexit negotiations Hard, Soft, Deal, No Deal, Backstop etc. We wish Parliament to resolve the issue using those 2 options

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

We have received a large number of petitions in support of leaving the EU, which are very similar to petitions that are already open. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one asking for the same thing. You are more likely to get action if you sign and share a single petition.

You might like to sign and share one or more of these petitions.
