Members of parliament to be paid average UK salary.
Members of parliament should receive a normal living wage. We understand the responsibility and importance of the role of an MP but on average the members of parliament earn £77k plus bonus around £15.5k
This money is surely better invested in other parts of the government such as the NHS and public services. I believe if members of parliament earn the average UK wage then changes will be made.
Some members of parliament donate some of their wages to charity.
