'Whipping' Should Be A Thing Of The Past
The whipps office should be closed, no more telling how m.p.'s should vote on any bill, they represent the constituents not a party.
Voting should be by electronic device only to give confidentiality and an element of democracy to parliament, which is lacking as far as the constituents are concerned.
A handset with two buttons would be used by m.p.'s to vote and the stats can be displayed on a screen in the house.
Let's have democracy in parliament.
