Benefits by card not cash
Benefits are paid by cash and this allows it to be spent on holidays, alcohol, lottery, Satellite TV and other non essential luxuries.
Change the name of benefits to 'Essential living grant' and issue a pre-paid photographic card loaded each month that allows claimants to buy food, clothes and pay utility bills and essentials, but stops money being spent on luxury goods that working people can only aspire to afford.
