Petition Action

Have at least five free prescriptions a year for people paying NI

Petition Details

I think that full time workers paying national insurance should be entitled to at least five free prescriptions a year, we pay alot of money Into the system and work hard for our money yet are entitled to nothing back from our contributions!

Additional Information

As a secondary request semi related to this petition I also think we should be given priority to flexible appointment times for services. For example GP appointments and physio appointments.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to do. In particular we're not sure if you're calling for appointment priority or only free prescriptions.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to do.
