With the increase of materials to create environmentally-friendly cups, lids, bags & many other items such as sandwich boxes, it is time to put a end to 'one use' plastic & paper cups & start using only reuseable items or items made from biodegradable materials.

Example:
The National Trust (N.T) is a good example to look at as their tea rooms use mostly either reusable items or items made from biodegradable materials, such as their take out cups which is made from plants & vegetables, other examples include knifes, forks, sandwich boxes, cup lids & many others! All these are made from plants or vegetables but are similar to plastic & paper or card, but with the advantage of being able to go in the compost bin. They also sell reusable metal straws.
