Make Voting in General Elections and Referendums Mandatory

Petition Details

The close nature of recent elections, and in view of the recent Brexit and Scottish Independence Referendums, where 15% did not vote, we should introduce mandatory voting as they do in other democracies to secure a better outcome and widen involvement in the political process and key decisions.
