Mandate Food Waste Reduction
The UK wastes 1.9 million tonnes of food every single year. But, according to WRAP, this could be redistributed as 360 million meals.
For the sake of sustainability, and to end food poverty, we need a regulatory approach to food waste.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about food waste, but are not sure exactly what you would like the UK Government and Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
