Educate general public in the matter of pollution, climate change and our impact
Make education on the Pollution, climate change, our future and our options mandatory both at educational establishments and at all workplaces. Make it mandatory for every TV and radio channel to broadcast at least half an hour of relevant information on the RANGE of subjects every day.
Four years on from the Paris agreement, the general understanding of being green is recycling and using a bamboo toothbrush. General public gets their information about climate change and pollution from conscious people who are very often told to "cheer up" as its" not all that bad". So that we can make decisions and choices, we need to be educated. And it should be the governments' duty to do so. We need to know what's happening, how this will affect us, what is being done, what can be done.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions which call for actions that are the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
It's not the UK Government's responsibility to oversee the output of TV and radio broadcasters.
There's already a petition about making climate change part of the curriculum in primary schools. You might want to sign this petition:

You are more likely to get action on an issue if you sign and share a single petition.
