Reintroduce civics lessons (taxes, politics, finances) into schools
Ensure that all school children enter adult life with knowledge about our political system and parliament; how banking, pensions and loans operate, and how to write a CV, workers rights, and the housing market. There is currently no fixed or compulsory lessons on this in the national curriculum.
As a university student currently trying to navigate adult life, there is a lot I do not understand and wish I was introduced to earlier in life. I understand not everyone may have the opportunities and aid I have had and wish this to be available to everyone nationally.
