Add the study of architecture and urbanism to the national curriculum/schools
As an architectural educator studying place and space is an essential part of everyones lives. Taking action on energy use, healthy buildings and environment will impact and reduce our carbon footprint but all need to be aware to action this. Spaces can decrease crime and anti social behaviour.
It is already a focus for local and national government but children are the main audience for this work. Awareness at School could also align with career choice.
