Free school milk during the reception year.

Petition Details

Currently free school milk is offered to under 5’s, but as soon as they turn 5, parents/guardians have to pay for the rest of the academic year (reception year and ofcourse by choice).

Additional Information

Currently coolmilk offers free milk to under 5s.
This is the case for most if not all primary schools that offer free milk.
How is this fair on our children?

Please give these children the choice and a voice!

This is one of the milk providers opening qoutation to parents on their website;
Milk is the ideal mid-morning drink for your child!
So why if ‘ideal’, is milk not free during reception year?
