Brexit Referendum: Mrs May’s Deal v WTO No Deal. Remain not on the ballot.
The country voted to leave so there should be no overturning that decision. The government and parliament are deadlocked, so give the decision back to the people. The only question that should be on the ballot is: Mrs Mays deal or No deal reverting to WTO rules. Remain absolutely not an option.
Parliament are elected to represent the people. In 2016 the people voted to leave the EU in the largest democratic exercise in UK history. Of 650 parliamentary constituencies, 406 voted leave. That’s 406 MPs who should voting to deliver the Brexit we voted for. Mrs May deal does not achieve this as the question asked was Leave or Remain - not leave with a deal. I’m tired of elected representatives dictating what they think is best. For the sake of democracy, let us vote on Deal or No Deal.
