Petition Details

That the U.K. Government replicate the E.U. anti tax avoidance in order to prevent the U.K. becoming a tax haven and impose stricter control on U.K. residents with assets abroad, such as tax havens.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition because the EU Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive came into force in UK law and across the EU on 1st January. We're therefore not sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
