Allow 16 and 17 year olds to vote in a Peoples Vote or Snap General Election
With Parliament Divided and Unable to find a way through, the chances of a snap election or referendum a increasingly high. Many young people have been involved with Brexit as it will affect them disproportionately, therefore I propose that parliament consider allowing them to vote in the next vote
A large amount of 16 and 17 year olds have become involved with politics (Petitions, marches, social media etc) and have shown a maturity that many over 18 haven't shown.
over 16s can already vote in many countries round the world
and Scotland let 16 and 17 year olds vote in the Scottish independence referendum.
