Many countries in the EU will soon be allowed to take up the option to stop operating under Daylight Savng Time.

Additional Information

Energy saving under clock changing has proved to be marginal, Many of the largest economies in the world, including China and Russia, do not operate under daylight saving time (DST). Recent scientific studies have suggested that the clock changes were having negative effects on people's health.
The EU Commission says studies suggest "the effect on the human biorhythm may be more severe than previously thought". It is “time” to put an end to this.
