Introduce cervical screening tests every 1 to 2 years

My friend is going through a hysterectomy and treatment at the young age of 31 after receiving the diagnosis that she has Cervical Cancer. She was up to date with her smears (going every 3 years). This proves that cervical screening invites MUST be more regular than 3 years.
