Petition Action

Make key manifesto pledges legally binding, when a government is formed

Petition Details

The voters voice not being heard, I propose that any party which forms a government be held to deliver their manifesto. Key pledges will form of a legally binding contract to the voter/people. Breach of this contract would result in the party being removed from the ballot for a term.

Additional Information

implementing this would create a fairer election process for smaller parties. While assuring the the voter what is promised will be delivered, as appose to the current system where key pledges are dropped at will by the elected government.
