Call a national public holiday for a day in which Brexit as a subject is banned.
Our country is split down the middle on their views on Brexit.
However, we can agree that as a nation we are sick of Brexit. We've had it the last two years with now the current potential to have it for the foreseeable future with an extension. We need a break from these power hungry politicians.
If this were to pass we have a one off bank holiday. During this we would not talk about Brexit for this day, in particular on the news outlets. It would give us a break from the current shambles but also it would allow us to shed light on other important issues that are being neglected because of the ongoing situation with the EU.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
While the UK Government can create new public holidays, it's not the UK Government or Parliament's responsibility to stop people discussing Brexit.
