To provide Warranted Police Dogs Nationwide in the UK with Protective Gear.

Petition Details

Like Police Officers, Police Dogs are warranted animals that are specially trained to assist alongside the police and face the exact same dangers and situations as regular officers.

Whilst Officers are provided with protective gear our Dogs are not and are just as vaunrable.

Additional Information

I believe that they should be equip with the correct gear before beginning their shift. Whether this be a Stab Vest specifically designed for them or EOD Equipment for Explosives Dogs.

This would result in two things,

A.) Our Dogs are Safer whikst carrying out their duties with their handeler.

B.) They would be eaiser to identify as a Police Dog as their vests would contain insgnia to symbolise Police.

The Saftey of our Dogs counts.

Equip our Dogs with Protective Gear for their Shifts
