No free NHS for the obese
Evidence shows that if you are overweight you are more likely to develop health problems, such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, certain types of cancer, gout (joint pain caused by excess uric acid), and gallbladder disease.
Why should the public pay vast sums of tax to help those who have brought this on themselves through the life decisions that they have made?
If an obese person requires health treatment, they should pay for it - not everyone else...
Perhaps there could be free health classes for the overweight put on with just a tiny fraction of the savings this would bring about.
