Petition Action

Cut MPs salary by 50%.

Petition Details

MPs are being paid for failure with the Brexit situation. They are paid much more than ordinary people. Reducing their salary for this failure is fair and will put them more in touch with ordinary voters. It will also save the UK taxpayer over £25 million per year.

Additional Information

MPs individual salaries are £77,379 each.
Ministers earn more on top - but they can be sacked between elections.
