Change The law regarding MP voting in a Referendum
In a national referendum, the law should be changed to ensure that in a national referendum, an MP must reflect their constituency vote.
Currently, MP's have freedom to vote as they wish, and ignore their constituents wishes.
If a law like this was in effect, then their would not be the mess over Brexit we are facing now

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure whether you want to change the law about MPs voting in referenda or require MPs to reflect the majority view of their constituents, as expressed in a referendum, in votes of the House of Commons.
We can only accept petitions which call for actions that are the responsibility of the Government or Parliament. It would be the responsibility of individual MPs, rather than the Government or Parliament as a whole, to decide how to vote in the House of Commons.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
