Standardise all female titles to Ms. regardless of marital status
There is no benefit to females being required to specify marital status through their name as “Miss” or “Mrs” and using one over the other can result in prejudice.
Males are considered “Mr” for their lifetime.
Although “Ms.” is currently an option, there are negative connetations with its use.

It's not the UK Government's or Parliament's responsibility to stop people using their preferred title.
You could start a new petition asking for the Government to change the titles available to choose on government forms and documents, if that's what you want to happen.
