Full Public Enquiry into all Campaign Groups in the EU Referendum
Regardless of Brexit final outcome
To identify those who knowingly lied to the public on both sides and to investigate the money that funded campaigns. Those who lied or broke the law on funding to be barred from public office or prosecuted if proved misconduct/ fraud in public office.
We know individuals on both sides spread lies and used inflammatory language and false statistics - financing is already being investigated from some individuals/ foreign sources and misinformation from Russian actors has been identified. This is not about the campaign either way it is about the conduct of the campaign - while politicians notoriously bend the truth the level of lying and misinformation in the campaigns ahead of the Brexit Vote was utterly unacceptable from Public Servants
