Remove knives from shelves in shops to behind the counter
In the year up to November 2018, there were more than 276 fatal stabbings in the UK and more than 45,000 knife crime incidents *, of which a large number were committed by teens. Moving knives to behind the counter will decrease the number of knives stolen by under 18s and general availability.
