Petition Action

Revoke Article 13 and keep the current copyright laws.

Petition Details

Memes are quite a big thing on the internet, I'm sure you all can agree... However, article 13 will restrict memes that are not original. That isnt just it, Article 13 will also restrict alot of YouTube videos that I am pretty sure you all watch. The internet will now not be a great place to be.

Additional Information

Article 13 forces social media platforms, such as Facebook, Google and YouTube, to have responsibility over unlicensed user-uploaded copyrighted material. Help #SaveYourInternet by signing this petition and share #SaveYourInternet

Note: Article 13 has apparently went through, this is against Article 13.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
