Explain why MPs get three votes on Brexit deal while the British People get none

Petition Details

MPs have had three chances in as many months to vote on the PM’s Brexit deal. They’ve continually claimed this deal is “the will of the British People”. Yet the British People have not had a chance to express our will since June 2016. Without taking sides, we’d like parliament to debate and explain.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what action you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to take.

If you'd like a referendum on EU membership then you could sign a petition about that.
