Ban all pointed blade knives from retail sales.
The pointed knife has no or little use residential homes. This type of knife is used in a high majority of stabbings and crime incidents leading to death and injury.
Why do most kitchen knives have pointed ends? In all the time I’ve spent preparing food, I’ve never used the point of a knife.
Having curved ends will reduce the knife being used as an offensive weapon as well as a defensive one.
Pointed knives should be licenced for sale so are utilised by professionals who need them.
