Call on the Government to Allow an Annual National Day for all Students
The Government and Parliament should mark an annual day in the first week of July to be known as “Students Rights Freedom Project Day” a national day for all students to take part in & organise events/marches to raise awareness and express their views on important issues they feel strongly about.
Education and higher education are important for building our nation. The annual U.K. nationwide freedom day should encourage all students to take part in events & raise issues they feel strongly about and to highlight the changes students want to see regarding tuition fees/financial matters, human rights, unfair discrimination, inequality, health matters, disability, environmental issues, etc. Importantly this will allow students to stand up for their rights.
