Modernise parliamentary process
Current procedure in the House of Commons is both archaic and out of touch with the British public and overseas observers . It is not fit for purpose.
Parliamentary process should be updated in line with modern business practice and traditional , historic, protocols disbanded.
Terminology such as ‘honourable’ ‘whip’ ‘order’ etc should be replaced with modern language which is both relevant, productive and better understood.
Practices such as booing, banging and shouting are not acceptable in a boardroom nor should they be in Parliament. Feedback if required can be done electronically.
Consideration should be given to relocating parliament itself to a centralised geopolitical location. Current building and location present an undue burden on the British taxpayer.
