driving licence, passport, ID in one card (non-compulsory)

Additional Information

In these days of computers we should (optionally) be able to get 'one' card (credit card type) that would act as our Passport, driving licence, and general id. This should have a chip on it and could hold more than enough information to cover all these bulky documents. Why have a two part driving licence, a passport, and many other forms of id when we can get all this information on a single credit card type device.
