Make ISP’s use static IP addressing for all residential and commercial lines
By making every internet connection have a static IP address using the new IPv6 system then the police and intelligence agency would be able effectively combat the following:
• Paedophilia
• Terrorism
• Terror movements
• Hacking
• Fraud
• Anti social movements
• Riots
By having a system like the post coding (but for computers) in place we would be able to see which people accessed said “paedophile site” and therefore take action at both levels.
At current most lines use a non static IP which means it changes each time so if Mr X uses computers for riot creation they reconnects the next day; by that point Mrs Y will have his old connection. So therefore we cannot pin the blame on him
