Create legislation to subject cats to the same control and restrictions as dogs.

Petition Details

Dog owners are required to take responsibility for their dogs and to pick up their excrement. There is no reason the same should not apply to cat owners. I am fed up picking up cat poo and dead birds from my garden.

Additional Information

It is obviously not acceptable to let dogs roam free and do as they please, so why is it acceptable for cats? If cat owners don't want to take responsibility for their pet then they can keep it indoors, as many cats are already.
