Ensure that every secondary school student in the UK gets CPR training.
Each year, thousands of people suffer a cardiac arrest outside of hospital. On average, only one in twelve of these people survive. With training for secondary school students, this statistic has the potential to improve, and many more lives could be saved.
In other countries where young people have been trained to deliver CPR, the survival rate from cardiac arrests has significantly increased.
