If still in the EU on the 15th of April, vote NO to the Copyright Directive.
The European Parliament recently passed the Copyright Directive, a damaging piece of law that could seriously harm the British technology industry. HM Government should vote NO to the directive in the Council.
The European Parliament recently passed the Copyright Directive, a damaging piece of law that could seriously harm the British technology industry.
If we are still able to on the 15th of April, HM Government should vote NO to the directive in the Council to ensure that even if a deal requires us to follow EU law that directive does not apply here. If we voted no along with other countries already planning to (Italy, Poland, the Netherlands) we could block the entire law.
