Petition Details

In 2021 the ULEZ with cover all Boroughs within the North & South Circular Roads. This will affect working families with older cars who cannot afford newer cleaner ones & price them of the roads & make their lives harder. Mayor says use public transport, but cutting bus routes or shortening others.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition because it's about something that the UK Government and Parliament are not responsible for. This is the responsibility of the Mayor of London and not the UK Government or Parliament.

You can petition the Mayor of London and Transport for London here:

www.london.gov.uk/about-us/london-assembly/petitions

You could start a petition calling for the Government to take responsibility for defining ULEVs away from local councils and elected Mayors if that is something you would like to see happen.
