Make NHS business authority unable to fine you without making you aware you owe
I was fined over £100 for an unpaid prescription fee I didn't know I owed for, the NHS business services authority never contacted me to tell me I owed them for a prescription they just sent me a fine months later.
Stop giving fines to people who are unaware they owe money
Before being fined the NHS BSA should give you a chance to pay the original outstanding amount. Just sending out fines is not fair and not right

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
If you were entitled to a free prescription, or had an exceptional reason not to pay, you can challenge a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN). You can find out how to challenge a PCN here:
www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/pay-or-challenge-penalty-charge-notice
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
