Increase statutory maternity pay to 100% of the mothers weekly wage for 6 weeks.

Petition Details

Increase statutory maternity pay to 100% for the first 6 weeks. I do not believe a woman should suffer financial detriment for giving birth. Currently the pay is at 90% which only widens the gender pay gap which is unacceptable.
