Option to sign against E-petitions
I would like you to add the ability for people to indicate that they do not support a particular petition. Currently the only way to do this is not to sign but this does not capture the public view since 90% of people may disagree and their view is not captured.
With this amendment, the enhanced petition would give a clearer view of public feeling and would avoid extreme views from seeming to have broad support.
The presentation to parliament over 100K could then be a mean after negative votes were removed.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
